You can be assured – we have a commitment to excellence when it comes to the level of training we provide. Training Environment is suitable for the first-timer to the veteran.
CPR
CPR stands for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation. CPR is a series of immediate actions to take when a person suffers Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA). During SCA the heart stops suddenly and the victim’s brain is not getting oxygen. If the flow of oxygenated blood to the brain is not restored within a few minutes the victim will die. CPR training teaches lay and medical rescuers to recognize the emergency, call 9-1-1, assess for breathing and restore the flow of oxygen to the brain with chest compressions and rescue breaths(EMS Safety Services).

First Aid
First aid is the initial care given by a responder with little equipment to someone who is injured or suddenly becomes ill. These courses are designed to give first aid providers the knowledge and skills needed to respond confidently and effectively in an emergency. It is the role of the Instructor to help students identify and overcome the barriers to taking action in an emergency(EMS Safety Services).

AED
AED stands for Automated External Defibrillator. It is a safe and easy to use device that delivers a therapeutic electric shock to the heart as treatment for a victim in Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA). AEDs are mobile and often found on the walls of public venues and corporations across America, much like a fire extinguisher(EMS Safety Services).

Bloodborne Pathogens
Disease causing microrganisms that are present in human blood. They may be trasmitted through exposure to the blood or certain body fluids of an infected person. Other Potential Infectous Materials besides blood(OPIM) as defined by OSHA include: 1) Human Body fluids, 2) unfixed(fresh) tissue or organs from a human, and 3) any cell, culture, fluid, tissue or organ containing the HIV of Hepatitis B virus(EMS Saftey Services).
